Good fishing with perfect weather conditions for Pliva. Cloudy with some rain in the morning. Both graylings and trouts were active during most of the day. The best part was from 11am – 4pm.
Long line nymphing was the most productive technique, with 0.10 mm tippets and small Plivka nymph at the end, during a hatch. In the morning pheasant tail was more effective, and at the end of the day brown olive nymph. There was also surface activity but only brown trouts. Some really good sized fish were rising, up to 45 cm, and they were not so hard to catch on smaller BWO imitations. Overall many fish in the net.
Deep, cold water over a sand-and-grass bottom, famous for huge wild grayling and rich in wild brown trout.
